Deej Another Parisian progressive gem!

Old school sounds with a Hammond B3 organ and some of the guitar leads are reminiscent of Queen or Kings X.

Beautiful sounds, vocals and progressions, it's like old meets new. Favorite track: Fall Foliage.

To Become is the first album by Outwards

I wrote all the songs between 2015 and 2016, before the band was formed. The purpose of this project was to form a band around the aesthetic established by the songs, to perform them on stage but also to rework them as a band. Each members have brought their own ideas and the whole things become much greater than just a solo album project.
To Become is a concept album inspired by a lot of the event that happend around the world at this time. We follow the story of one character, totally overhelmed by his environnement. Songs after songs, this person fall in a deep depression and paranoia.

This is, at this time, the most ambitious musical project I have ever done, and this is also the one I am the most proud of.

We all sincerely hope that you’d love this album as much as we do.

Track Name: Once Upon a Day
Track Name: Personal Rabbit Hole
It's a young girl's story
Wondering how the world was
From the stars above

Fallen inside the fat old earth
In the strangest rabbit hole
A place to wander, a place to drown forever

It’s a teenage girl’s story
Brooding her wish to find
A way out of here

Tired of this fake stars hung
In her personal rabbit hole
She wants to grow, she wants to be tall enough

To reach the top of
Her personal rabbit hole
I hear the tick-tock of a clock
Please wake me up

Eyes wide open in blur
Can’t find a way back to
My rabbit hole

I am always changing size
Never find a place that fit my hopes
Sure it will be better somewhere else

Safe place
Safe life
Safe dreams
Searching for a…
Track Name: Artwork & Fears
Draft of grey crayon lines
Unfinished business
Screen of my head
Full of ideas

A land of small light bulbs
That can’t shine through my eye

Arsh are my feelings
Against my shyness
There’s a gate inside
Which sew my lips
I scream in silence

Violence are the colors
Of the hanger I keep inside
Wanna tears my veins up
And paint my rage with blood on the wall

Now I’m an artist of doubt
I draw and paint my fears
To bring them to life
They’re my faithful friends
Through my final walk
To my early grave
Track Name: Fall Foliage
Track Name: The Tale of a Cog
Alike are my days
Depressed are my eyes

Blank are the thoughts of my brain
When I scream through my sleep

I'm juste another cog
I am the way you feel

I am tired
Please let me sleep again
Track Name: From Dust...
Track Name: A Fable of Modernity
I glimpsed the news today
Outburst in my old box

Flashing lights
Stroboscopic fights

I'm awake from stasis

makes our happiness

My box of truth
Controled a pictured world
From my inner zapper

For sure
This is not acting

This so callen war is

Is the greatest show on earth

They all shoot us
They all shoot us down
Track Name: ... To Ashes
Track Name: To Become Alice
Safe again with my poetry of shell
Some drawings here to remember my face
As I fade away
While the sun shine anew
On this quiet land of endless dreams
It feel so warm I'm forever secure

Welcome girl to nowhere
Some red ink is flowing out of your arms
It certainly explain your presence
Of you dear among us

Your wonderland is here
Alice is gone away
I can see some disapointement
I guess this is not what you've expected

It comes again
My flesh is torn
The pain bangs in my head
I'm drowning in blood

Lost again
When everything slipped away
The void appears
And let her dreams blank
As she fade away
While the others forget
No memories of the sacrified
Hold back your tears and watch the final show

Let me breath
Let me hold on
Let me draw a better end

Let me breath
Let me hold on
Let me draw a better end

Let me live
Let me go to Wonderland

To become, become Alice
